I would actually not like to talk about my current obsession this week (which is very obvious, if you know me, but if you don't, then let's just move on.)
This week I've been basically doing nothing but playing Sims 2. I was just really bored one night, and put it into my computer. It may take forever to load because my computer's a piece (i before e except after c) ((yes, that was necessary because I actually thought it as I typed that word out)) of crap, but if I'm really bored, it's worth the wait.
My Sim got married, got preggers, then accidentally adopted a child. Her name was Gretchen, and nothing I did prevented her from showing up that day a week (in the game, of course) later. It was really annoying, since my Sim was about to give birth.
She had a boy, I named him Jeremy after a character (who's name, I realized later, was actually Jeremiah) and when he became a toddler it looked like his nose was sucked into his face...
But let's move away from Sims 2, because that's actually a bit boring (but only because I don't have the Sims 3, I'm sure).
I just found out today after I got off the phone at about 8:15 that school starts for me on Thursday. This upcoming Thursday. I mean, I don't need to get ready or anything, but I would have missed it all together. It was just a big shock!
Hopefully, the Band class I want to take is when my English class would be so that I can switch my English class with my Chorus class and then I'll have Band, AND the English teacher that I really, really wanted to have this year. Hopefully.....
Though schools don't tend to make things work out for the students, apparently, even though that's what they're supposed to do. Maybe I'll argue that point, though I don't think I should argue with my counsler since I'll most likely talk to her quite a bit this year... Or not... I don't tend to do things I should.
I might be making this twice a week. I may be making it Saturday and Tuesday (because I love Tuesdays). Tuesday would not be me ranting, usually. It would be a short story day. I'll start with stories that I've already had for a while, but I'll run out eventually, and then I'll start writing new ones. Can't wait, huh? Hopefully, they won't be depressing.
