I'm SO annoying!

Posted by Lizzy Milhomens On 6:53 PM 1 comments

Did you guys know that this February is "Wizard Duel Month" ? I'm so reading Harry Potter again... God, I'm such a dork. That's ok, though.

Video Series of the Week: Cat Face
I.. Love... Cat Face. I'm such a FREAK.

Webpage of the Week: Average Wizard
Further proof.

Quote of the Week: "You are very funny. You talk, but all I hear is silliness."
That's from Cat Face. It's stuck in my head. Hehe.

I'm planning on starting the video project... eventually. I have a camera, now, so woo! I can use that and record things inside and outside of the school. I'll have to tell them to start studying their scripts, and I'll have to look over mine as well.

Anywho, I haven't been very interesting lately. I annoyed myself for about three days and then I got over that (it happens every so often) and I was sick for a couple of days.

I got into the dance I wanted for Allegria, and now my legs really hurt. I'll get used to it, and it was worth it because the dance is a LOT of fun.

I got to see CJ today, which was awesome as usual. Too bad I can't see him nearly every day anymore..

I'm most likely just going to rest tomorrow and hopefully by Wednesday I'll feel a lot better. Even though the dance was on Saturday, my legs are still killing me. Meep.

I look silly when I walk.

This will be short again. I'm super-tired and I have NO idea what to talk about. Meep.

Bye-byes.

It's strange...

I was looking for songs so I could make a list of them, and the pages I was clicking on to listen to them to make sure it was the right song... were free downloads, right~? Well, one of the pages had an option to... "download legally" and there was a button for it and everything. $0.10 a song. I laughed a bit. Then when searching on google, I typed in "free mp3" and the "other" choice was "lyrics." I think they know they're being watched. XD

Song of the Week: Pants Dance. I don't have a link for this. If you want it, email me and I shall send it to you. (Lizzy231@msn.com)

Who else just finished their Christmas shopping?
Because I'm done and I still have about $50-$70, I think.
I think I'm unna go to the store and buy a dress I was eyeing.. It's amazing.

I don't really have much to talk about. I'm in a blaaa mood. Maybe it's because I'm starving to death. My brother is supposed to make dinner, but he's still on his way home from Julie's. So... I think I'll have a snack soon.
And I just saw my awesome person, but it feels like it was only for a minute. While I'm with him, it's perfect, but now I just feel horrible because I'm not near him anymore. Grumble...
Anywho~ I've been listening to lots of Christmas music, but not anymore.
And... I made the part I want in the One Act play at my high school, which is cool.
And... um... I'm hungry.
I'm super hungry.
Grumble.
I like the Geico gecko... He's better than that stupid money thing and the cave peeps. Hm.
Oh, and you should all read Pinkamoo's stories. I read them a lot. They're mostly just "cute."
All romance stories, but teen romances.. so some situations are really annoying, but cute in the end, usually.
I think I need a snack so I can think clearly.
The show that's on the TV right now is about food. I'm not happy about this.
I have about $13.20 on this website. Hm. Weird. I'll just keep saving up, and one day I'll have lots of money and I'll give Joe a 10th of it like I promised for using his name.
Meep.
Anywho, I'm unna get a snack so I don't die.

Ah.... It's Sunday... For some reason it felt like a really long break or something, even though it wasn't. It was prolly because of all the sleep I got. Both Saturday and today I woke up at around 11:30, which hasn't happened in a long time. (Well, two weeks..? Maybe more, actually.)

Anyway~ On to not-so-boring things:

But it's a specific part of it. If you click the radio thing, and the scroll thing, go down to "Cutting Edge of Christmas."
I've been listening to that since yesterday. Finding really cool songs...
WARNING: They're played two Jonas Brothers(do not click the link unless you are ok with uncyclopedia~) songs since I've started listening. Just mute your computer if they play it... It nearly destroyed my eardrums.

Music of the Week: 12.23.95 by: Jimmy Eat World (It caught my ear on the radio station above, but no wonder.. it's Jimmy Eat World. Ignore the first like... thirty seconds. They're kinda annoying and weird sounding. It's the rest that I like - when he starts singing and it sounds all.... Harvest Moon-y)
Click "Listen Now" and it'll let you on Jango, I think...

Survey of the Week: Blah.

Quiz of the Week: Video Game Quiz
I'd fail it.

Anyway.... I don't have much to talk about.
We should start recording soon.
Maybe in a week or so.
Prolly not, though. We'll prolly end up recording after Christmas. Just because that's how it seems to be going at this point.

'Till next week.

I figured that since the last post wasn't too far away, I should wait until Sunday to post. So.. here I am~

Song of the Week: Tom Bowling
You'll see...

Webpage of the Week: YouTube
Because it will be very important soon enough..

Quote of the Week: "YOU have to shave??? I HAVE A NECK BEARD!"

So, I just spent most of today in a really weird outfit. It was fun.. My friend Dezi and I had a project to do together on Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau. It was... interesting. I wrote the script and got the costumes together (basically just telling Dezi to wear a black button up shirt and tie her hair up, and I bought fake fur and glue for teh face for beards and side burns)
We finished the project, and now I just wish I knew how to make subtitles on iMovie. It has subtitles for half of it.... but I want it for the other half. Half meaning the Voice over, but not the acting part, not meaning half of the movie.
So... I think I'll put it up on youtube later when I'm finished to help anyone doing this project. I'm pretty sure a few more classes are doing this project this year, as I'm in the honors class...

This will be super-short, prolly, because I'm tired.
Tom Bowling is Thoreau's faaaavorite song. X3

I made Emerson like kitties...

I made Thoreau and Emerson almost kiss..

I made Thoreau be girly when writing in his diary.

It was fun. My bangs still look really funny....

Later.

Sorry for the delay..

I've been pretty busy this week. On the weekend, I prolly could have put something up, and I thought about it, but I never got around to it. By the time Sunday got here, I was working on a paper that was due the next day...( only, it wasn't, it was due the last Monday and I had misunderstood. But, whatever, I turned it in anyway... even though she still hasn't told me if she'll accept it yet...) Then on Monday, I was working on a project for the same class for also the same book. Tuesday, I was downtown Waterville just hanging out and teaching Drew guitar chords (I taught him G, D, E, Am, Fm, and C, I think.) And yesterday, I was working on notes and reading manga because I'm a slacker. (Hopeless~ ) Today I've been working on a script for an English project. I've got four pages done. I'm about a third done... great. But, whatever, I'll get help from my work partner. I'm stuck, anyway. I'm sure she wouldn't leave me stranded.

So today, I figured, I'll update.

Webpage of the Week: Tinerme (anyone who's been talking to me this week knows about this. heh heh...)

Song of the Week: brick by boring brick -- by Paramore (I got brand new eyes (their newish CD) for my birthday from a friend of mine~)

Quote of the Week: "YOU TELL LIES!!"
Because I typed it in a story I wrote for English... then I read it in the amazing JTHM that my awesome boyfriend got for me for my birthday... and it was just a coincidence. Or I'm psychic. Either way. I'm good.

-----
It's ok that I didn't get a camera for my birthday.. I'm hoping to get one for Christmas, though. If not, I'll just have to save up my own money. Not a big deal, I just need one soon... Though, that is pretty much the only thing I asked for from my mom. >.> Oh well.
We should start filming soon even if I don't have a Flip right now. We have the cameras on our laptops, and Sunny has a camera... matter-o-fact, so does Derick... if he still wants to be in it, that is. He said that his Dad had a camera that we could all use if he asked.
I think I'll stick with Sunny's, though. I'm more familiar with it.

Speaking of which, Sunny and I made a skit using Melony, her character, and Cary, my character, from my show. It was lame and stupid and funny at the same time... and it took us four hours to make a five minute (or less, maybe) thing because we kept screwing up and goofing off. Thing is, we started at midnight. NOT a smart move. I crashed after that, too.

Hopefully, I'll be able to put that up soon. :3
Maybe I'll go to Sunny's for a little after school tomorrow to see if I can get it onto my laptop so I can edit it and put it online~ Wee~

Anywho, I've been really, really busy this week. I mean, with actual school work. So much that I haven't been able to have a proper night's sleep... Grr.. Actually, after this I'm going to sleep. I want to stay up to talk to CJ, but I'm just really, really exausted.

Sucks that I still have homework to do. I say, it can wait for tomorrow morning. Let's see... I have five History questions... no Math homework... and, since I have a study hall before Chem, I don't need to worry about studying for that until then. I'm so hopeless~ I've been saying that for two days now, but it's true! I really need to get my act together.. The thing is, I actually am now! But I can't do all of my work and getting enough sleep... that's what I need to improve right now. If I get that down, I should be able to get the grades I want. Gah, stupid me.

Anywho, I'm sleepy... and really, really, REALLY thirsty (as always in this house.. )

Goood... NIGHT! :'D

4 Days~

Posted by Lizzy Milhomens On 3:40 PM 1 comments

Hello! 4 days!
You may be thinking "Yeah, I get turkey and stuffing and yum!" but I'm thinking.. I'm unna be 17! People I know may be thinking on this day "I get turkey and stuffing and it's also Lizzy's birthday!" Yeah. I said it...

Anyway, on to my boring stuff.
---------------------

Webpage of the Week: This one... because I can get money from it and it's fun...

Song of the Week: Coward (it's not a real song. Yet.)

Excitement of the Week: It's my birthday on Thursday... (this is the most excited I've ever been to turn a year older. And I have no idea why, because I won't be able to see CJ or any of my people! At least I'll be with family, though...)

---------------------------
My drawing style changed a bit... I'm drawing people with stick arms, pretty much. It's a little silly looking, but also quite adorable...

I just got this program that's called Seashore. It's a lot like Gimp. I couldn't figure out how to use the layers, though, and I couldn't find anything on it... but then I realized I just forgot how to use layers in general and it's just how you use them on any other drawing thing... Hehe.. silly me...

At the moment I'm writing this, listening to music, and drawing on my laptop.. (well, I would be drawing.. but I'm typing.)

I think I mentioned this last time, maybe, but I have a full cast, I think!! We have Goom and Laph undecided, though, I think... It's most likely going to be Drew (prolly YES, actually, because his hair is starting to look really right for the part. We just gotta work on making him act less like a mean version of Laph...) So then Laph would be Derick if he decides he wants to (I hope he does. I think he said he might want to, but he's not 100% or something like that). Lexi is Alicia, I am Cary, Melony is Sunny. We met this freshmen a week or so ago and he looked like he'd be a good person to play Mike, so I asked him and he agreed. Though, of course, he's always able to change his mind and say no. Especially since he doesn't know us all that well yet and he may not like the part. His name is Edward, but I'm planning on asking him if he has a nickname. If not, we may dub him something. I like his name, but it's a mouthful to say all the time. Like my name, which is why I'm now Lizzy. (People think I get annoyed when they call me by my full name, but I don't... that much. I just think it's better to be called Lizzy because it's shorter and I'll more likely answer to it.)

I'm wondering what Thanksgiving is going to be like. I'll be at my uncle's, because that's where we usually go, and I'm going to be surrounded by my whole family, most likely saying birthday + Thanksgiving related things to me. o.o It should be kinda interesting. I'll prolly be drawing and stuff. I do like my family, but they're all a lot older than me except for one cousin I have there who is about... 4, I think? They're fun, though... I'm really looking forward to talking to my cousin Howard if he's there. He's a lot of fun to talk to..
Anyway, I'm being BORING! D': I'M SO SORRY! HERE'S A STORY!

~~~~~**********###########
There was a tree named Ulli. Ulli, one peaceful day, was just sitting there being a tree when a bunch of birds decided to live in it. Ulli was annoyed, but let it go. Then squirrels decided to move in, also! Ulli was annoyed so Ulli shook in rage, but the squirrels ignored it so Ulli sighed it's leaves away and let it go. Then, a CAT WITH LAZORS came and lived in the tree! At first, Ulli was kind of reluctant but ok with it, but Ulli had become very good friends with the squirrels and the cat was killing them! So Ulli stood up out of the ground, grabbed the cat and THREW IT! The kitty went flying through the air and the birds caught it and they flew off into the distance with their dinner. Ulli was finally alone. Filled with dead squirrels. So, one day when Ulli was an old giant tree, he saw a man and boy approach. The man was holding an axe! AHHHH!!! The man cut Ulli down, and Ulli was SO PISSED. Ulli had forgotten his real name wasn't Ulli! Then, Ulli became known as a different name, too, and soon forgot his second name was Ulli!!! Ulli took revenge on the man who cut him down, but left the son alone. Then people kept making stuff out of his body! On a special day, he would take his revenge, and those people died! Then Ulli met Trilby and they became best friends. THE END!
Yeah. I mixed that up. Yep. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET, LAZOR CAT!!!
Anyway, I'm off!
Song(s) of the Week: These are covers by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Ignore the videos, I couldn't find another link.
Quote of the week: "Whoa... Taylor Swift is 19!? I thought she was in her, like, 90's..."
Of course, I meant 20's.... but still. I said it. Heh...
I've forgotten to say that we have laptops now! (I think..)
So, as soon as possible I'm starting my video project - portfolio! I really hope I get a Flip for my birthday so it can at least look like I completely know what I'm doing, even though I'm clearly just a beginner.
This week I have painted a picture, talked to my boyfriend on Skype, dealt with some... family issues, found the last couple of people needed for my script, started to slip a LOT more in Chem, and a lot of other things (most of them annoying and unneeded at the moment.)
Right now I'm just sitting in the living room talking to my friend Alicia, making mac and cheese(blame Alicia if I get sick~ haha, just kidding.) and being cold, most likely because my hair is still wet from my shower.. that I took at like 10. Yep, it's still wet. Soaked, in fact.
So... not really much I can talk about this week, so I'll keep it short.
By the way, Dan Bergstein is pwnsome.
Seriously.
Anywho.. I'm going now. Can't really think of anything to write about that won't ruin this blog completely.
I'm off~!
Hola, peeps of doomithon.
I am back
from doomworld
to blog.
About boring things.
But hopefully you'll be entertained.
I'll try.
Anyone who's been talking to me this week knows (most likely) that I've been doing one of two things besides the obvious (talking to my boyfriend) with my spare time (which is anytime that I'm not in class doing work) : watching The Lazor Collection (including the amazing 4th one) and reading a super-special blog about a guy's experience reading the Twilight books. So, can you guess the video and webpage of the week?
Not those.
Just kidding!
Yes, I know I put The Lazor Collection on here last week.
Webpage of the Week: Dan's Hilarious Twilight Blog
Movie of the Week: The Uninvited
I actually really liked this movie, even though I was making fun of it the whole time (I always do that during thrillers and horror movies. It makes the experience more enjoyable, to me.) It said on the back of the case that I would be surprised at the ending, and I didn't believe it. I called the case a liar, crumbled it to bits, and fed it to my cat. Then I set my cat on fire and threw her at a gas station that had just had a major spill as I was driving by at high speeds. Later, though, I came back and found the case in perfect condition, which was good because it was a rented movie and I hadn't even rented it, Sunny did.
Anyway, it was right. Even though it made me angry by trying to guess my thoughts. The stupid movie... And even though I was upset that it ended like that, I still thought it was a pretty good ending...
-----
We had watched three movies that night (Halloween night) and the two others were The Last House on the Left (or something like that) and Wrong Turn 3, I think it was... Both of those movies - I wish they had ended before the last scene.
In The Last House on the Left, he puts the guy's head in a microwave at the last part, and it would have been better if we were led to believe that everything turned out perfectly ok and he hadn't gone back to torture the guy (even IF the guy well deserved it, he should have just died and that's it.)
In Wrong Turn 3 - Left for Dead, at the end the cop goes back to get the money they all found in the back of an abandoned car, and the serial killer we thought was innocent kills the cop and then gets killed and eaten by a mutant... and if it had ended before this scene, then the girl and the cop would have been rescued and the killer would have dramatically walked off into the distance. We would have thought that they were safe, yet traumatized for the rest of their lives (and got married - we know they loved each other!!!), we would have thought the killer was innocent because he helped them out and whatnot, and we would have thought that all the mutants were killed.
Anyway...
I just downloaded Gimp... Thank you, CJ. I honestly didn't think it would work...
Is it bad that I'm pretty obsessed with going on Yahoo Answers?
Oh, and by the way: THIS.
Oooh, and I forgot to say that we DID get our laptops! Excitement... and then Skype spread through the school like swine flu. (Yes, I DID just say that.)
So, if ever, my skype is XxLizzy231xX because I'll be using that instead of yahoo, msn, and aim since I can't put any of those messengers on my laptop for some stupid reason. But don't expect me to talk on video, I don't like it unless I'm talking to my boyfriend.
Quote of the Week: "Don't worry, he won't go anywhere. I'm going to kill him and staple him to the wall in the band room. Then we can act and he'll still be part of the show. 'What's that Laph, did you say something? No, ok.' It'll work."
Anyway, I think I'm done now. I have other things I could talk about, but it's way too long as it is.. I doubt anyone will read this whole boring thing. X3
I'm off~
~Knurvs
P.S. One day I'll write a book that no one will read, I'll make a show that no one will watch, and I'll translate a manga that no one will read.
Video Of the Week: Lazor...
Halloween was... interesting this year.
We went out, realizing that we'd get weird looks because we're old...
First off, Sunny and I carved pumpkins first, then took like an hour to get ready... by the time we left it was about 8pm. >.<
Unfortunately, we didn't take pictures. Some people took pictures of us when we stopped at their house, though.. I don't know what'll happen with that. XD
Anyway, we went and walked down and gots us some candy, then it started to sprinkle. We were like "whoa, it's kinda sprinkling" and I started to worry about my dress, then it started to rain harder and I screamed "RUN FOR COVER!!!" holding my dress and running for the trees. We hid under and behind a really big tree (because it was also windy)
So we were hiding behind a tree, and it got worse and we were still getting rained on quite a bit.. so I had to take my dress off so it wouldn't get ruined. (It's my favorite dress, and I love it, so...) But I had pants on... just no shirt... or bra.. this was a huge problem. so everyone turned around and I hid behind the tree.. Oh, Sunny undid the back of my dress because I couldn't reach it very well..
So, I took the dress off and covered myself up the best I could as sunny shoved the dress into a large plastic bag we had and took her wings off so she could get her jacket off. That took a good 2-3 minutes... and I was soaked D:
It was quite... funny, actually XD
Not to mention my voice sounds really funny because I was part of a haunted house the day before and had been screaming my lungs off. (My voice still sounds really funny.)
So eventually she got me her jacket... and the zipper broke as I tried to zip it up. So I had to borrow someone elses jacket that we were walking with! D: Then we called Sunny's mom and she found us (like 15 minutes later, because we had no idea where we were)
So, yeah, productive night.
The night before I was part of a haunted house, and it was a lot of fun. I found out that I can scream like I'm dying, and that I hate scaring people because I always felt so horrible when they ran away. o.o;
But now I sound silly and people keep giggling at my voice.... oh well.
This isn't going to be very long.... Actually, I'm off!
Song of the week: (Well, this playlist... Jingle Jangle is my favorite right now, though.)
Picture of the week: This one. I couldn't get it on here, though.
Webpage of the week: My Life Is Average
I honestly don't know what to type about this week. This week was weird, my brother left and I got to see my boyfriend a bit, then he left... Um... so, I've been talking about this stuff and the laptops and video cameras and whatnot for a while now. I need something new.
Hmm.... once upon a time there was a little kitty cat. That kitty decided that it HATED. So, that kitty climbed a tree and attacked the tiny fire ants on it. The ants ran, screaming, as the kitten used its lazor and attacked them all, laughing maniacally as it did so.
Soon, the kitty realized it was being watched. The kitty turned around with a face like this 3:< (or, very disgruntled kitty face) and found squirrels sweeping the tree.
"What you doin, betch?" the cat suddenly yelled, jumping up and fluffing up it's fur to scare the squirrels. They stared at the kitty and decided that they wanted a roommate, so the kitty moved in with the squirrels without any type of communication to each other.
One day, the kitty woke up and decided that it wanted to start shooting lazors everywhere.
"YEW KEELED MAH HUSHBEND! BETCH! D<" one squirrel in the tree yelled suddenly. There was a squirrel lying down on the ground holding a flower and sticking its tongue right up into the air, like dead things should.
"Oh, sorry." the kitty said, and everything was fine. They all lived happily ever after. Except, they didn't. Because the kitty hates. So they all died, and kitty ate their corpses.
THE END~!
Anyway, last night I was over at my friend's house. We decided we wanted to play Mad Gab and Life at the same time, but we wanted to play with one of our friends that lives in West Virginia, so we called him up and played for at least 3 hours, and still didn't finish the game (oh, and we lost THE GAME at least 3 times that night) and so yeah. That was kinda awesome.
Oh, and I turned dramatically towards the microwave lastnight and said "hurry up" or something, and then it beeped! :D Yay!
Yes, I'm rambling because I have nothing to blog about. XD
Which means I should prolly go with this last comment:
If we don't get laptops this week, I'm going to be really angry and might rant about it next weekend. So hope we get laptops.
Who lieks mah stories? :D
I'm off! -dramatic pose!- (of doom)
Hello! How was your week? Well, that's interesting....
Good for you.
...
Video of the Week:
Trailer
I actually think it looks very adorable~! <3>
Seriously, look at his little outfit! X3
Amazingly adorable!!!
Song of the Week:
Bandages by: Hot Hot Heat
I'm still obsessed with
5 times out of 100, but I figured I'd just put up my other favorite Hot Hot Heat song.
Gah, I love it!!
Quote of the Week:
This happened second period Friday. It was kinda great... Shock laughter.
"While this word means happy, joyfull-"
"Optemistic?"
"Yeah. So, this word means happy and optemistic, and this means-"
"Suicidal?"
Woooow.
Picture of the week:
Wow, that's epic. I love it X3
I just found out awesome stuff...... Woo for Wikipedia!!
Apparently Hot Hot Heat's song
Bandages is on Rock Band as an extra you can get in the store thing...
and their song
Middle Of Nowhere was played on Psych...
Goodnight, Goodnight was in John Tucker Must Die...
Let Me In was in an episode of House (wow, doesn't seem their type of song... maybe a different one, but wow)...
Holly from
What I Like about You has a Hot Hot Heat poster in her room...
Elavator was in a vodka commercial XD...
and more interesting stuff at the bottom of their wiki page.
There's this website apparently a lot like
FML.. It's called My Life Is Average... I was on a forum and someone was talking about it.. apparently someone posted that they took a cheap preg. test for fun, and it came up positive... and the person is a male and a virgin..
So, maybe that's worth checking out, hm? Prolly funny, since others started raving about the site after that person talked about it. Yep.
Ok, I've been reading it... I can say that it's really funny. It's not stories about horrible things, more like funny everyday things... but they're really funny, not just boring stuff. X3 I like it! Hehe..
Today my house is going to be full of people from ages 15 to 21. Not counting my baby nephew, my gram and grampa, and my mom, of course. Good news is that I get to see my boyfriend for the first time in a while! Not so good news is that I have to try to be quiet and stuff... This party is for my brother, Joe, because he's leaving for basic or something on Tuesday and he wanted to see all of his friends one last time, maybe even the last time for some of them if he drifts enough. He told me a bit ago that whenever we have a party at my house all the attention goes to me.. I had no idea, seriously. I never noticed, I just had lots of fun. So I'm going to try to just be boring or something so my brother doesn't get sad and annoyed and hate me forever for it. Hopefully it will work!
I'm starting a series as soon as I get my school laptop. My friend Alex said he'd help me write the script and whatnot... we're using the trail around
Colby, the high school hallways, and this building in downtown Waterville that has a room that looks like a really old school and would most likely be perfect for what I'm planning. I don't wanna say anything about the story at this point, because it is going to be different from what I'm thinking. Alex is a very motivated person, says he, and he will actually help me finish and even start this project! I'm so happy! I'm going to have a portfolio for college! Yes!
Anyway, it's about one thirty so I think I'm unna split....
Just... look for them on the weekend. I'll try to get these up on Friday or Saturday, but sometimes it's Monday.. never Sunday, though, 'cause if I can't get online on Saturday, I can't Sunday.
Song of the Week: 5 times out of 100 by: Hot Hot Heat
I forgot how much I love them.... X3
Looooove them~!!!!
^~^
I love how original his voice is o.o That much be it. Yep. Gaaah~
<3
Anyway, I should continue..
Task of the week: Look up a random word on YouTube, click the highest rated one... and don't have it be something messed up. Look up something like... funny, parody, awesome, cheese... You know, normal things.
Day of the Week: Tuesday. Duh. And tomorrow it will be Wednesday. Duuuuurrrr.
Ok, pointless.
I had a quote of the week, but I don't remember it.. D: It's been much too long!
Anywho~
I really need to start planning these things completely. Maybe even start writing them ahead of time like I'm writing an essay or something. Meh, too much work for something I don't really get much money from, anyway. Plus,there isn't much point to me doing this. It doesn't help my education... I dono. Maybe I'll find something to talk about within the next few seconds...
It's supposed to snow today. It hasn't yet, but I bet it will at least a little bit. It'll prolly melt right away, but I still bet it will happen. I want it to snow. When it gets to the point when it stays, Sunny and I are going to build a "set" in my front yard and make a stupid little show thing there so I can practice with cameras and we can goof off.
We went to Sunny's aunt's (or cousin's or something) house this weekend and ended up exploring her new house (which they haven't moved into yet.) The basement is... all.... Blair Witch-y. It's creepy. The ceiling is low, the ground is unfinished and really, really bumpy and there were a few light bulbs randomly around the giant room. Sunny turned the light off and stuff and she was taking pictures to see orbs, or whatever. I was just.... freaking out. I don't like creepy places like that, yet I love them. I hate being scared, but I love scary stuff. It's weird. We asked her aunt.... cousin.... person... if we could sometimes come over to her house to shoot videos in her basement. Oh, and Sunny kept laughing because she thought it was funny that I was freaking out... so I tackled her because she was scaring me with her laughter. All I could think of was all those movies where people get possessed and it freaked me out.
Another thing I did this weekend... I went on a walk with my brother, Joe, his son, Issac, and Sunny. We went around Colby College and it's nature trail thing... It's really, really nice over there. I'd love to explore that for a day. It'd be so much fun. There's also a field there that's really pretty. I decided that I could also use this area to film. So now I have quite a few places that I can film at, which is good... Hopefully I'll be able to get a camera. If my mom doesn't get it for me for my birthday, I'll just have to save up. No big deal, I just have to not spend any of my allowance and I'll have it within about... 5 months... Oh my god, that's forever... Ok, I'll find a way to get more money. Yeah.
But I really hope these random videos come out the way I want them to! That would make me sooo happy, and I'd put them in my portfolio.... but if they don't, I won't and I'll just keep trying and trying and- well, if it takes soooo long, I'll most likely ask for advice, and if it still doesn't work... I guess I'll give up. I doubt that'll happen, though. It's just about the angles and stuff. I'm sure they'll be fine.
Anyway, I'm off. Only 20 minutes of school and I really should do some work...
Ever, ever forever?
I'm putting this up today because I'll forget tomorrow. From now on, I'm going to be putting posts up on Friday's... at least until we get our laptops.
----------
Have you ever listened to a song that made you feel like you were floating up above and away from everyone? A song that makes you take big breaths and sighs, that fills your mind up with so much happiness that you just have to grin, and you may even get a headache?
Every once in a while I find a song like that, and I can't stand it, but I love it so much.
The song I found is a song I put up on here a couple of weeks ago. I liked it a lot when I first heard it, but the more I listen to it the more I adore it. This is my favorite "band" from now on. He's amazing, seriously.
It's Owl City -
Fireflies
I can't stand it, I love it so much.
This is the type of music I listen to and know I'll never make something so amazing (not that I have enough skill to be a musician) if I tried. Which is why I'm fine with just listening to it and gawking over it all.
The thing with me is.... I love writing, but I love music more than anything. I have much more talent writing, though.... prolly because it's easier than making music. Stories can pop up anywhere. Music can also, but it's a lot harder to put it all together and make something people like, including yourself (which is, of course, the most important part).
It's somewhat the same if I watch a movie I really like, or an Anime, read a book or a Manga, or really do anything. I'll get this feeling that's like... "I wish I could do something like that. That's absolutely amazing."
Of course, though, I'll never be able to. I used to be really great at things, but it's like I stop at a certain point. I can't get any better at the clarinet, or drawing, or anything.
Depressing, yes?
It's just so annoying. I wish, as everyone does, that I had the power to do whatever I wanted to. Create my dreams for people to know.
Quote of the week:
"You see... every time you enter a room, it's just... amazing."
Yeah, not funny, I know. I thought it was adorable~
Though it's all in my head.
Video of the week:
Part one, Part two
DarkHeartProductions
Song of the week:
First All Time Low song I heard (I looked it up that first time because I read some of the lyrics on someones AIM and was interested - it sounded really familiar)
I tried to find my current favorite by them, but all I could find of that song was this really weird sounding version. It doesn't sound anything like my CD and I don't like it very much. >.>
Anyway, I have nothing more to rant about. This is so much fun sometimes~
I'm off!
Gah...
Alright, this time it was completely my fault. I forgot. I'm not even grounded anymore, and I still didn't post! Gah!
Movie of the week: 50 First Dates
Video(s) of the week: Salem and Mikey and Issac and Salem
The cutest... Oh, geez. Seriously. ADORABLE!!!
Song of the week: Wouldn't It Be Nice ...because of the movie, yes. I like that movie. X3
Quote of the week:
"Squck...."
The laptops are coming, the laptops are coming~! O mai, o mai! I'm not joking, nope nope!
Our High School is getting laptops for the students this year. Meaning, we're like the Junior High School kids now... I don't see why they had them first, actually. I would have been better off with laptops right in high school, instead of having them in junior high... It's dumb.
Lizzy has found out that she can borrow the Flip Video Camera from the school's library! So I'll be making videos as soon as we get laptops! (Trust me, it'll be really hard for me to wait that long! I'm already really itching to make videos!) Gah!
For now I guess I'll just work on figuring out how to make games on my computer, and I'll worry about the (easier) video thing when the laptops come in and settle with us.
They're Mac computers, and my cousin told me that Macs are best with Video stuff. He said that they were the first computers to work with that, and they do the best work, so maybe I wont fail completely at making videos. X3
This might end up being short... I hope not, though. Hopefully I'll think of more to rant about.
My back hurts >.>
GAH!
Anyway, the bell just went off so I actually really should go if I want to check the camera out some more.
Byes.
Again!
Yes, late again! Actually, I meant to put this up yesterday. Oops. At least I started it!
Why, hello people! How are you today? I'm great, thanks for not caring!
Anyway, on to buisness. Not really buisness, but still...
Song of the week(who sees this coming?): Hush Hush Hush... Here Comes The Bogey Man
It comes from this game that mah awesome boyfriend showed me. (Play it~)
Quote of the week:
"Tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh...(etc)"
I can't explain that, because I may get in trouble X3 You'd have to ask me personally.
I think this week I planned something to write about, but I honestly can't remember what it was. All I can think about right now is what I'm looking up on google. It's fun to look up random names, isn't it? I looked up my name, and stuff I know about showed up. I decided to type in my Dad's name. A couple of class sites showed up, along with court sites and then I found a poetry site. My last name isn't really, really common, and my Mom told me that my Dad loved writing poetry, so I figured it had to be him. Unfortunatly, the link was old and he took the poem down. I really wanted to read it, too. It was called The Canvas Of Life. Sounds interesting, right?
Anyway, so I've been looking around... I don't think he gets online much, because I sent him a really long email a while ago and he never replied, and I don't see why he wouldn't if he had read it. I know he feels really horrible about not talking to us for so long, but I told him that it was fine with me and that I'd really love to talk to him just over email.
Wow, this just got kinda personal, didn't it? Not what I was expecting. I don't think I've even talked to anyone about this at all...
There are all these pages online saying "find this person!" where you can get their address and phone number and stuff, but you click on any of the links like "home phone number" and it goes to a page saying you need to pay for the information. How is that fair? My brother really wants to talk to him about something... (I remember him saying something about it) I think he wants to tell him that he's joining the army or something. All I know is that Joe was telling me that he was annoyed because all the numbers he called to reach my father- well, no one answered.
So if these damn pages didn't force you to pay for one tiny profile of information, then we'd be all set.
Anyway, that was WAY personal...
So I think I should go now.
By the way, no I don't angst about this at all. I forgave him, and am just curious what he's been doing for like ten years. Plus, he IS my Dad.
Um... yeah... bye.
Twice...? TWICE?
Posted by Lizzy Milhomens On 7:10 AM 0 comments
Yes twice, but that's only because I'm not going to be able to go online tomorrow, title box! D: I'm sorry!
Song(musician) of the week:
Fireflies by: Owl City.
Thank you, Sunny. o.o
Question of the week(answer it!!!):
If you had one wish and you were drowning, what would you wish for?
Quote of the week:
"Achoo! Achoo! Car Crash!!!"
Don't ask.
I shall only have one rant today!
Hopefully...
So, it's September - blah! September is boring..
I'm just waiting for October for several reasons.
I'm already freaking out and stressing about a couple of things: My Halloween Costume and the term paper we have to do this year.
I have to go to down town Waterville sometime soon (after I get ungrounded, I suppose) because there's a wig store there that has the perfect blond wig for my costume (I wonder how weird I'm going to look blond? Oh well, it won't matter because I'll have so much makeup on.)
I have to figure out how to make stitches look realistic and whatnot, because I need them all over my arms, on every one of my fingers and on my mouth. This is going to be fun.
I need to buy two black and white stripped bows (should be easy to find) and I'll use my Allegria dress (because it's pretty much perfect) unless I can find a cheap but awesome one somewhere... (Hey, it could happen!)
I have wings, so I'm all set there... if it all works out, it should look something like
this with wings or (just putting this up because it's amazing, though I didn't tell her a couple of things) this with wings. Yeah, I forgot the wings... and didn't tell the person who drew the second one about the wings... oops.
Oh, well, whatever. It should be awesome. Oh, and I might carry around a box.
Yes, I still go around with people on Halloween like a little kid.
Honestly, it's mostly because I like walking at night and that's like the one night we can't get in trouble for it. And I loooove costumes. Fun fun~!
Oh... and... gum. Hehehe?
I was told to not worry about the term paper, but the only reason I'm worrying about it is because I'm afraid I'll write a bunch of fluff to make it the right length! D:
Gaaah...
Well, I'll just worry about that later...
Anyway, about the question of the week.... it's a trick question, cause even if you did try to talk underwater, I'm pretty sure that the genie wouldn't understand what you were saying and you'd die anyway. Sorry.
I think I'm pretty much done. Yep.
I'm off... to bed.
What?
How dare I miss a post! I'm such a horrible person, I'll just go force myself to watch Imagination Movers now! D:
(The horror!)
Just kidding. Actually, I'm grounded so I wasn't able to get online that day (not that it mattered, I forgot all about it anyway.)
So for two posts (not including this one) I'll be posting on Friday so it's not more then a day off.
This week's song theme:
90s Music
The quote of the week:
"No, really, you can make milk out of ANYTHING!"
Texting during school:
If texting during school, you must choose the right time. Do not text in class, because you will almost certainly be caught, unless you have a very oblivious teacher.
Do not text while walking down the hallways. There are so many people around, that you may not notice a teacher walking right up to you to snatch the phone.
(Any teacher reading this: I do not text in school.)
Or, well, at least... I usually don't. Not in class, though. Maybe like a one word one during a break or lunch, but it's rare.
Anyway, I'm still obsessed with late 90s music. Very much obsessed. Why is this? The music on that playlist up there.... it's like (is it: A. my brain is floating, B. my heart is crying, C. ...amazing, and stuff)
The answer is.. um... C? Maybe? I really can't think of what it's like. Not all of them are like that, though. Some songs are just ok, others are amazing~
The musical is starting soon, and I haven't even looked up the play.
It's called
Crazy For You and maybe I should even click the link... Hmmm....
Anyway, the auditions are Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately, tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment and the next day is the first day of Art Club... I'll skip Art Club, I guess.
Anywho, this one is short because I have to leave now~ Sorry.
I'm off to walk~
